PD 2: Max A

Three of the funniest scenes in A Midsummer Nights Dream are 5.1, 3.2, and 3.1 because the actions of the characters are ridiculous and stupid which are funny  and make the audience laugh. In 5.1 the rude mechanicals perform a play for the king which turns out to be bad but funny. In the play they have a boy play a girl, Pyramis stabs himself than comes back alive, and a window for moonlight gets covered that they needed for the play. In 3.2 the four lovers get into a  fight and start wrestling in the mud. It's funny because they are mature adults acting like little kids. Lastly, in 3..1 Bottom gets turned into a donkey because of the spell Puck put on him. His friends all run away and then Titania wakes up and falls in love with him. In conclusion, Shakespears play had some funny parts that entertained and made the audience laugh.

The three funniest scenes in Midsummer's Night Dream are 5.1, 3.1, and 3.2. These are the funniest and some of the best scenes because they are mystical yet hilarious, they always made the audience laugh and  they were very well written. In 5.1 the Rude Mechanicals put on there play, it is funny because its almost like Shakespeare making fun of plays just in general and it is hilarious and written well. In 3.2 all of the couples are fighting each other, Helena thinks it is all a sick joke but Demetrius and Lysander are truly in love with her and in the end it is just funny to see all of the conflict and drama caused by Oberon's good intentions and finally in 3.1 Bottom's head gets transformed into a donkey's head which by itself is just funny but the way Shakespeare writes the situation makes it all the more hilarious. Midsummer's Night Dream's funniest scenes are 5.1, 3.2 and 3.1.

The three scenes in MSND that are the funniest are 5.1, 3.1, and 1.2 because they make people laugh, they entertain others, and they bring joy to other peoples life. In act 5, scene 1, the crowd thinks the bumbling idiocy is deliberate. In act 3, scene 1, the character bottom turns into a donkey and his friends run away from him. In act 1, scene 2, again, the character bottom thinks in the play, that he can play all the parts, and they also make a boy play Thisbee, which is a girl. the three scenes in MSND that are the funnest are the funnest because of the laughs, the entertainment, and the joy from it.

The 3 funniest scenes in MSND are 5.1, 3.1, & 3.2 because they make the reader laugh and because they are really bizarre. 5.1 is when the Rude Mechanicals perform their play that is so bad that it's good in a way and certainly funny. When Bottom kills himself twice and Snug roars a lion's roar that really isn't terrifying at all are just some of the funny occurrences in the play. In 3.2 everyone loved the wrong person and everything gets confusing because people go like wait, i thought you loved me? and then the other guys goes like never did. It really is funny though. In 3.1 Bottom and Titania fall in love. Oh and Bottom has the head of a donkey so that makes EVERYTHING more funny and very bizarre. The 3 funniest scenes in MSND are 5.1, 3.1, & 3.2 because they make the reader laugh and because they are really bizarre. There are a lot of funny scenes in MSND, but in my opinion 5.1, 3.1, & 3.2 are the funniest because they are so bizarre and confusingly funny.

PD1: Evelyn Z. MSND Option 2

The 3 scenes I consider the funniest are 5.1, 3.2, and 3.1 because they entertain and make people laugh. In Act 5, Scene 1, the Rude Mechanicals had to use a lantern for the moonshine, and Peter Quince was calling out their lines. In Act 3, Scene 2, Puck was mimicking Lysander and Demetrius’ voice when they were going to fight each other for Helena. He was fooling them and they didn’t even know it. Finally, in Act 3, Scene 1, Puck changed Bottom’s head into a donkey’s and it scares all his friends away. I consider those 3 scenes the most humorous in a Midsummer Night’s Dream.

In my opinion, there are a lot of funny scenes in this play. Especially with the rude mechanicals, because of their stupidity. The scenes that I thought were the funniest were 5.1, 1.2, and 3.1. This is because they entertain people, and the scenes make the audience have a good time either reading or watching the play. Act 5 scene 1 is the most funniest because this is when the rude mechanicals are performing their play. In the play, they forget their lines, and they make a lot of mistakes. Even one person, Snout, plays a wall! "In this same interlude, it doth befall that I, Snout by name, present a wall." Another scene, Act 1 scene 2, is also pretty funny. This is when the rude mechanicals are practicing their play, and Nick Bottom then just talks all "dramatic," saying, "The raging rocks and shivering shocks, shall break the locks of prison gates." Though he tried to sound cool in a way, I think that he did not succeed. The last funny scene was scene 1 in act 3. Now, this is when Bottom's head turns into a donkey's head. This was very funny because Snout tells him, "O Bottom, thou art changed! What do I see on thee?" Then, Bottom says, "What do you see? You see an ass-head of your own, do you?" When Bottom says that, Bottom instead has an ass-head of his own! Those were the reasons why I thought those scenes and acts were the funniest.
