The best part of my spring break was celebrating Easter with my family.  I didn't do much during the week because my parents had to work.  So when they came home for the weekend and I got to spend time with them it was great.  My mom cooked a Polish meal as she was born there.  I helped dye eggs  and make a salad.  During the meal we played our annual egg cracking game.  One person holds the egg they picked and the other try's to crack it with another egg.  It wasn't very fun because we only had three people but usually we would play with about 20 at my aunts house.  Overall Easter was a great family experience for me this year.

Pd:6 Michael C. North Carolina vs. Notre Dame

My favorite part of my spring break was when I went to the Elite eight game in Philadelphia. After we had our Easter dinner with my family we went straight to the game. After we got there they had the Syracuse vs. Virginia game on the big screen so we got to see Virginia be upset. The game was very close in the first half but North Carolina pulled away in the second. That is definitely one Easter I will never forget.

Over spring break I got to go to Charleston, South Carolina. In Charleston I got to go indoor swimming and go in the indoor hot tub. I also got to go on a carriage ride. My family and I got to see lots of cool and interesting places on the carriage ride. For dinner we got to go on a rooftop restaurant, it was so beautiful looking over the railing at the view. When we got back to the hotel we ordered room service and got chocolate molten lave cakes. They were so delicious! When the room service lady came to pick up the food when we were done they gave us chocolate covered strawberries for free. The next day we went back to my grandma's house I was sad to leave, but I got to go see my cousins!

People always ask, are you going anywhere for spring break? For the first time in a long time, the answer was, "No, I'm staying at home this year." I didn't think it would be that fun at first, but it was exciting to go to places that we don't really have to to go to during school. For example, we went to the mall (KOP) every few days and the movies to see the new Superman vs Batman movie. I also slept in everyday of the week. Watching lots of Youtube videos of different stars and Jimmy Fallon clips never get boring. I also listened to a lot of music on Spotify and watching old movies like Forrest Gump again was exciting in a slightly different way from when traveling was the norm for me during Spring Break. Even though I didn't travel far, I still had a lot of fun and relaxed, but that's all that really matters.

Max Austin: Spring Break

Over spring I went to Florida. We were originally were going to drive like the year before but my mom last minute decided to fly, so we took a plane. When we got there we collected are bags and went to the car garage to get are rental which was a orange convertible Mustang. We arrived at 2:00 and went straight to bed. Every day we went to the beach and pool and met a who we hung out with almost every day. We went in to town a few times to eat dinner and went to the farmers market there once. On the last day we went kayaking and the left around six for our flight. Our flight got delayed and we ended up getting home five o'clock Easter morning. But overall I had a great spring break.

Andy Marquet: Spring break

Over this spring break i started out by driving down to the Chesapeake Bay and staying at a resort. It was really fun, but the highlight of Spring Break was going to the Elite 8 basketball game (UNC vs Notre Dame). I am a big UNC fan so it was awesome seeing them play. They are the best team left in the tournament (opinion) and I really enjoyed seeing them in person for the first time. It was an awesome atmosphere. The stadium was sold out and was dominated by North Carolina fans. Overall i had a great spring break.

Spring break was the highlight of my year. My family and I packed up our bags and flew out to Steamboat Springs, Colorado. Steamboat is a Western-cowboy themed town. We stayed in a condo, near the mountains, and took private skiing lessons. My sisters, Olivia and Isa, went to the lessons with me while my brother, Jake, went to ski school. Unfortunately, my brother had a tough time getting used to being away from my parents. While we were in Steamboat, we went to amazing restaurants. In one of the restaurants, we got to cook our own meat. In Steamboat, most of the shops are in town such as the candy store (we got a lot of candy) and the clothing shops (where I got a sweatshirt). When the fun ended, we all wished we could stay, but we knew that our time was up. We shipped out the skis back to Philadelphia, and flew back home. The experiences and memories I made at Steamboat will definitely last a life time.

Spring Break

I didn't do very much over break. But what I did was go to an Easter party with my family and I hung out with friends. At the Easter party, we first hunted for Easter eggs then we had a barbecued meal. Also, to finish it off we had cupcakes and chocolate covered pretzels. But earlier that week, one very strange thing happened. While outside, my friends and I were swinging on the swings and then we saw it. My cat on the roof of my house looking down the chimney. I quickly went inside and got my mom. She went to the front of the house and helped the cat down. At first, she didn't want to come down but then she finally did. She was definitely happy to be back on the ground. In the end, it was definitely one of the most weirdest moments of my life. That was my spring break.

Spring Break

Over spring break, I had my bat mitzvah it was so much fun and everyone who came I think they had a fun time as well. It was the first time I was in one room with everyone who loves me. After that I went to Boca routine, Florida. Every spring break since I was a baby we have gone. My great grandmother has a house down there and we stayed there for one week. Every day we went to the pool, and her country club fro dinner. we also had one day to celebrate her birthday, we went to a broadway costume museum and saw a bunch of costumes from very famous shows including, My fair lady, Greece, Titanic, and more. We finally saw a show from broadway that my mom and I really wanted to see called "Curtains", it is about aa bunch of actors filming a show and out of all of them one of them is a murderer killing a bunch of people from the cast. Until they find out who is the murderer they all have to stay on set and no one can leave, while the murder is out to get them. It was probably the best spring break ever and i hope to do the same thing next year again

Period 2; Thornberg, I Spring Break

Spring Break

Unlike most of my peers, my spring break was pretty great. I turned thirteen on the 24th, but I chose not to have a giant party or anything like that. Strange, I know, but I usually don't have a party for my real birthday. Ever since my baby brother, Sawyer, was born, we've shared a birthday in between the both of ours. He turned two on the 18th; thank goodness he wasn't born the day after my birthday like he was predicted to do! This year, we had our birthday on the 19th. Mom got us the most delicious cakes I've ever eaten, let me tell you. Clay's Bakery is my favorite little pastry shop ever, and it's insanely delicious despite the ridiculously low prices. We had two separate cakes, each decorated specially according to what we liked. For me, the cake was art themed. It had an easel, a pen, a pencil, a paint brush, and paint splatters (made of frosting, of course) all over its chocolate frosted sides! On the interior, both cakes were double layered chocolate chip pound cake goodness, and if anyone's expecting a birthday soon, I highly recommend Clay's. After stuffing ourselves of cake, we obviously went ahead and received our gifts. I knew I would only be receiving one this year for a fact, but I did get a few nice gift cards on the side in addition. Instead of having a party, I wanted all my money to go towards a new gaming laptop. My first computer was hands down awful. It was even worst than the slowest school computer you can think of, and trust me when I say you should take me very literally on this. Opening Chrome was like a three hour wait period, one that we all hoped died along with the Internet explorer browser. Beyond that, I couldn't move my mouse across the screen, with or without an application running in the background, without my laptop acting up or even occasionally shutting down. Anyway, my new computer was the dream, and definitely exactly what I'd hoped to have with the first computer. I've honestly downloaded giant gigabyte files by the quadruplets, and still been able to have a ton of extra tabs and games playing with no lag. I've said it once but I'll say it again; my new computer was the absolute dream. However, one sad part of my birthday was that my friends didn't come over on the actual party day. April fool's on you! This was planned in advance; my mother reserved us some spots in 'Escape the Room Philadelphia' for the 20th, as I've done one of these puzzle type rooms before. Most people, to my ultimate surprise, have never done one of these kinds of things, but if you're birthday's coming up, again, I highly recommend it. Basically, these 'Escape the Room' places are giant mysteries that you have to solve by finding clues within the room, which you're locked into. You have one hour to solve the puzzle, and usually the success rates aren't high. Even then, we found the key and got out in under forty-seven minutes! After the excitement died down and a day went past, my family and I went down to the beach where my grandparents live, for a second birthday celebration. We ate Poppop's home-made chicken and dumplings, and then went to the beach. After playing in the icy spray and thick, black sand, we kicked our feet off on the board walk and went to the bookstore. Finally, as I was thirteen, I was deemed old enough to read Game of Thrones, and that's just what I bought. We got fudge from Candy Kitchen, and then ate another delicious dinner of Grotto's pizza before leaving for home. Afterwards, I soon realized I'd forgotten to keep up with my track running, and managed to get in about two days of running before Easter. Easter was amazing as well, although I disliked having to wake up early and sing for an unidentified religious building. Sawyer's second Easter egg hunt was adorable, and the older kids had a lot of fun, too. At my church, we have these things lovingly dubbed as 'confetti eggs'. Basically, these are half of an emptied egg shell hand painted by volunteers and filled with confetti, then duct taped and hidden for the older kids. I cut my hand cracking one of the eggs on my step-sister's head, but luckily it didn't bleed all too long. Then, we went home to search for our baskets; Sawyer positively squealed as he found his in the tree-house, as well as the rest of ours. That lazy, Cadbury Creme Egg filled day was the last I had of freedom... er, spring break.

Ella D: PD3

My spring break started with a break. I was out with my friends and I fell into a ditch. No fun. So the next day I went to Florida, no fun. I sat inside and at the beach. I couldn't do anything, AT ALL. I was so mad that my spring break had to be ruined by my own stupidity. That was my spring break.

For spring break I went to Puerto Rico. At first I never really wanted to go but I ended up really liking it. The first full day we were there we went to the hotel pools. That's right POOLS plural the hotel had 4 pools and my dad and I went to all of them. We heard about the beach the first day and so the second day me and my family decided to check it out. The beach was on an island. It was awesome, you could go snorkeling, canoeing, paddle boarding, and ride a wave runner. My dad and I rented a wave runner, it was my first time so I was SUPER nervous, but it was not that bad once we got used to it. After we went to go snorkeling and saw a beautiful sea turtle. The third day we went to the hotel's water park. It was cool, my favorite part was the lazy river. We went to the beach again the next day, but on our last day my mom, dad and I went on a rainforest tour and learned that some make up is from rock paint and water. We also learned that there is gold in the dirt of a rainforest. Overall it was one of the best vacations my family and I have ever had and we can't wait to do it again.

My spring break was fun and relaxed. I hung out with Evelyn a lot, we went to sky zone and jumped around for a while, a couple day after we went hiking at skunk hollow where everyone could jump across the water without getting wet except for me who fell in almost every time. we also went biking a lot. But I also had a lot of time just to relax and I actually found that adult coloring books can be confusing but fun. I also caught up on my favorite shows on Netflix. so I didn't go anywhere very extravagant but I still had a pretty awesome spring break and I cant wait till next year when it comes again!

This spring break I went to Florida. I went with friends and family and it was fun. We stayed at the reunion resort thats in Orlando. We would all hang out and do stuff the go to the pools or watch March Madness. Every night we would all hang out in someones room so the Nova game was hype when they won. At night we go and chill in the hot tub until around sometime 2 because no one else was their so we had it all to ourselves when it got late. The last 3 days we where there we went to Universal. Their was a lot of people who were really obsessed with Hary Potter and had wands and all the Harry Potter stuff. The best rides there were a one called the rockit which was a huge roller coaster and the log flume ride where you got soaked. We went to the blue man show which was pretty weird because the guys were really creepy looking. Then every day after we let we would go to the NBC sports grill which had the best wings and soft pretzels. When we left on the plane I had a headache so it was awful and i fell asleep the whole time.

Spring break in my family is quite boring. We mostly stay at home and sometimes go out for day trips and things like that. This year was not much different. On the first Friday of break, we held a St. Patrick's Day party at our house. We had a few kids come over and we ran around outside. Occasionally we would come in, stuff our mouths with cupcakes and cookies, and run back out to join the game of Flashlight tag. On Tuesday, we drove up to Boston for two days and visited my Mom's work and Lexington. We came back and relaxed until Easter. On Easter we didn't do anything special. We had a normal dinner and a normal day. And as Easter left, school days arrived.

Over spring break I went to my grandparents with my sister and cousin. At my grandparents we made hot fudge sauce from an old family recipe. We also made brownies from scratch and ended up eating more than half of the batter. After that we played rummy and poker. It was my first time playing rummy so I didn't do too well but I think I did pretty good during poker. We also tried to fly kites, but the wind was too on/off to fly them successfully. My spring break at my grandparents was really fun.

Over Spring Break I went to a white water rafting center in North Carolina. The Olympic kayakers train there and we saw someone names Donnelly there kayaking. She was in the Olympics. We were really hoping to go rafting but by the time we got there they were sending out the last trip so we went zip lining instead. We got hooked on and started the first obstacle. My mom and grandfather stood and watched while my brother and I started the first obstacle. First we had to climb through a net bridge which was the easiest of all. Then we went over a wooden plank with many prices missing. After that we went through some ropes, wooden platforms, and other obstacles until we got to the tight rope. My brother was in front of me so I decided not to wait for him and jumped right on. We were both moving pretty smoothly until I decided to wiggle the rope so he would fall off (but he was strapped in so he wouldn't fall). He was wobbling like crazy until he fell off and hanging on only from the rope he was harnessed into. He started laughing like crazy until he could find his way back onto the tight rope. When we got to the end we waited in line for the last thing. A zip line!! I watched my brother fly through the air as I waited for my turn next. The man strapped me in and pushed me! It was so cool! I was so high above the ground! It was such a cool feeling. Overall the whole vacation was fun but I particularly enjoyed the zip lining. I hope I get to come back again next year!

My spring break was filled with lots of fun with my swim team. My spring break started with a three hour drive to the Penn State University, where I had a swim meet. The first thing that I did there was check in with the volunteers, so they knew that I was there to swim in that meet. When that was done we went to the hotel and checked in there so we could sleep. Both my brother and I were swimming really early in the morning. The only difference was that my brother was swimming on Saturday and I was swimming on Sunday. We made some food to eat as soon as we got into our room and then proceeded to sleep.
Saturday evening, I played pool with my friend while we were waiting for our other friend to come back to the hotel. I spent most of the night in my friend's room. All of my friends were there. We talked about how we were going to do tomorrow in our races. Because she wanted our relay to be the most fashionable relay at the meet, we got cornrows and bandanas. We then decided that we should go to sleep so we would be well rested for the races the next day.
I woke up at 5 o'clock on Sunday, got ready, and went downstairs for breakfast. Downstairs I ran into two of my friends. We decided to carpool to the pool. On the pool deck, we sat with our team and waited for our events to be called. Everyone cheered for each other when they were swimming. Everyone got best times and had fun. We learned new things about each other and told things about ourselves. After the meet almost everyone went to get ice cream at the Berkey Creamery. I went home with my friend and some other guys in my age group. By far this was the best spring break I've every had.

My spring break was not that good expect for one event. on 3/22/16 Tuesday it was not that hot not that cold just perfect. perfect for playing some pickup cricket i called Rajul, Ishan, Adan, and there dads played, it was the the sons vs. dads we played a good 20 over game which was 11 hours long! Me, Rajul, Ishan, Adan hit solid 110 runs but we underestimated the the old dudes. i mean really underestimated them! we didn't cover the back the far end or the far sides, so they crushed us buy 40 runs. It was so hard to soak it up but after all it was an great example of spring pickup cricket game.

Over spring break my family and I went to Puerto Rico. In Puerto Rico we went to a huge hotel called the El conquistador. At this hotel you can find a pool, a bar next to it, a water park, and a bunch of restaurants. The down side of this hotel was that the beach was on an island that you had to take a ferry to so we didn't take it. We went to a rain forest and swam in a water fall. After the neaxt couple of days we went to an island of the cost of Puerto Rico called Vieques. To get to Vieques you have to take a plane almost the size of a tin can. Its such a cool island and the biggest town is two blocks long. The hotel that we stayed was called The W. In Vieques my dad and I went scuba diving 40 feet down under a pier that the army built in 1943 but didn't finish it. The pool was very relaxing, but the coolest part of all was the bio illumination bay. its a night trip in a kayak and you put your hand in the water and these little one celled organisms light up in the night. All in all i had so much fun.

The ended of spring break was disappointing knowing that going back we would have a solid couple weeks of school before a Tuesday off in April. It gets hard to wake up in the morning. Like most others, I traveled to Florida this spring break. Mostly consisted of what I do on the yearly, nothing very new. Of coarse we had beach days and saw plenty of spring training games. It was painful to see the Phillies retire only Freddy Galvis in the 9th that cost them the game in the end losing 6-5 when he should of been at the top of their lineup. We went down their to meet our grand parents and of coarse we ate seafood, we were in Florida after all. But what got me mad most was that we went to the seafood place on Thursday and saved a mostly meat place for Good Friday. Nice timing mom.

Overall, my spring break has been full of relaxation, fun, and no stress! My mom, my sister, and I went shopping, went out for lunch, watched movies, and just hung out. My dad works on the week days, so most of the time I spent with my mom and my sister. But, one thing that was my highlight of the whole spring break was going to New York City with my whole family. I love New York City, but I was so scared that some random person on the street would steal my money or my purse or something. Luckily, that did not happen. Anyway, my family parked our car near Time Square, so it was so cool seeing all of the big screens towering above me. That day, we just walked around the city and shopped. For example, we went to American Eagle. My family and I also got bags full of M&M's from the M&M store, which was fantastic. Later, we went to this restaurant called the Stardust Diner. The waiters and waitresses there sing to you different songs from Broadway all the way to pop music. After that, it was time for the part I was waiting for the whole day: my first Broadway show! This show was Les Miserables, which was kind of ironic considering that I am auditioning for "Les Miserables: Student Edition" this April. When my family and I got there, my heart was beating out of my chest. When my family found our seats, and the lights slowly went down, I was getting very pumped. The musical started, and everything was super amazing, until the song "I Dreamed A Dream" came. When it was almost the end of the song, and the character paused to make it dramatic, all of a sudden there came a sharp, annoying sound that stood out. Guess what... it was from a cellphone. In my opinion, I thought it was very absurd, and it ruined the moment. The rest of the musical was awesome. Les Miserables is now one of my favorite musicals. Watching that musical definitely made me want to become an actress and made me love New York City way more. After all of that, my spring break went on very well. Every single day of spring break was great, but the one that was the most memorable was going to New York City and seeing my first Broadway show.

PD2: Jack F

My spring break was a very uneventful one but it still was fun. I did practically nothing all week but Sunday I went to my grandparents house for brunch and dinner. We ate banana nut muffins, kielbasa (a type of sausage), fruit, and a really good quiche that my mom made. For dinner we had broccoli, ham, some really good mac and cheese that my mom made, and potatoes. But the highlight of that day was that we got out my grandfathers old vinyl collection. We dug it out of the closet in the attic and there was a record player in that closet and we decided to bring it down stairs and try it out. We brought it down and started paying with it. It took us a lot of time to figure out how to get the . there were a lot of the Rat Pack and Frank Sinatra records from the 40's but it was a really cool experience to realize how convenient things are now with music. I had a really uninteresting break but it was still very fun.

Spring Break

My spring break was not really that exciting. I slept in everyday to catch up on some sleep. I also go to this park in my neighborhood and play outside there for a few hours. I have an electric scooter, it's really fun to use. I ran over break to train for my 15k this Saturday which i'm running with my dad in. i can't wait to run the race because i want to beat my time from last year. For Easter, i went to my moms house in New Jersey and we had an Easter dinner and we dyed eggs. (we being: My mom, My sister Sydney, my sister Evelyn, My step-dad, and me). Dying eggs is fun because we do it every year and we play a game with them. We hit the sides of the eggs together and whoever egg survives all the rounds, they win. Our Easter dinner was ham, corn, potatoes, and beans. My spring break was not that exciting but it was good to get a break.

PD2: Krystelle M

Over spring break, I didn't really do anything special. It's that time of the year when allergies act up and the nearby shops are crowded with people. So as a result, I ended up spending 8 of the 10 days I had of break inside watching reruns of old TV shows and Ariana Grande celebrity impersonations on Saturday Night Live. Although, I did have fun spending time with my friends on the weekend of Easter. On that Saturday and Sunday, my friends and I drove two hours up to Northern New Jersey to celebrate Easter and a friend's house blessing. The weather was ideal for hanging outside, so we spent most of our time playing with water guns and feasting on candy. When the sun went down, my friends and I had a nighttime egg hunt, although one of us ended off falling from a tree, trying to grab and egg hidden in one of it's limbs. He's fine though, the fall was only two feet. Did you know that pine tree branches are one of the thinnest, only having the ability to hold up about 120 lbs? Yeah, we didn't either.... Other than that, the last few days of the break ended up serving as a fun send off from our mini vacation. Even though I didn't do much, I enjoyed not having school for a week, and look  forward to it next year.

PD6: DelCiello H.

My favorite part of spring break was going skiing at Deer Valley in Utah.  My family hired an instructor for the first day to try and give us a couple pointers on how to ski a little better.  For the rest of the time, we just had a great time skiing down the mountain, possibly falling down on the way.  Sometimes all a family needs is a week of being care-free, doing something you love.

My spring break was mostly spent going back and forth between 2 houses, my friends and my house, to waste the day talking about random stuff. Since most of my sisters and my activities didn't have a day off we decided to not go somewhere too far or stay there too long, and that led my dad to finding out about the Cherry Blossom Festival in Washington. That's why on a delightful Sunday morning at 5am when I should've been getting the sleep I needed we were in the car driving to Washington. When we arrived there around 9 I was shocked to see the amount of cars there were. Horns beeping, people scrambling, the streets were filled with packs of people taking pictures of the cherry blossoms. After we finally found a parking spot we got off the car and stared in awe at the Sakura trees. As we walked along the sidewalk we came up to the Lincoln memorial and watched as swarms of people crowded around the huge statue to take pictures. I remember this one toddler who was being positioned by her mother to do a cute pose but right before she took the picture the little girl would go back to doing her own pose. Laughing as I watched this happen again and again I finally turned away and started back on the trail with my family. Next we went to Renwick Gallery where I saw tons of amazing art and this one that really captured my heart.  It was a room that had pieces of some kind of material and they were all different colors but when the creator layered them in a certain way it looked absolutely beautiful. We exited the gallery and kept going not knowing where we were or where our destination was but somehow we ended up at the World War II Memorial. There was a huge fountain in the middle and surrounding it were 56 individual pillers. the rest of that day was spent going to the White House,  The Smith Sonian Institution building, Washington monument, and Martin Luther King Jrs Memorial.

Powell R PD:6

The best thing I did over break was go down to my families shore house in Avalon.  On Easter my brother, sister, and my cousins raced up stairs and found our baskets, and eggs I was the second to find my basket, but I had the most eggs. The rest of the week was boring it was mostly cleaning our basement.

Spring Break

Over spring break... I did many fun and interesting things. One of my favorites was when Nikki and I went to Washington to see the cherry blossem festival, that I mistakened as a firework show(Its hard to tell wich one if your saying it in Chinese okay?) I went with Nikki and her family because my mom was working. We visited many places including the Lincoln Memorial, the outside of the White House, The Martin Luther King Memorial, the Museam of Future Art, and the Chery Blossom trees of course. When we got home our parents decided to do a karaoke party. My friends came and I was so excited to see them because Nikki and I haven't senn them, Livia and Jolin, in forever. We stayed up and played "Hide-and-Seek" with everyone and we finally left at midnight, actually I left at midnight, Livia and Jolin left at like 1:30 AM.

Over spring break unlike some people I did not travel, at least not very far. Most of my days were spent either skating boarding, sometimes to places such as Handel's Ice cream, going on bike rides with my neighbor or making trips to the mall or movie theater. But on Wednesday I traveled to Lewisburg Pennsylvania to visit Bucknell University where I walked around the campus. The campus there is small but seems like a great place. That about sums up my spring break, hopefully I will be able to go somewhere next year!

PD:3 Neff,T

Over spring break I went down south and looked at colleges. First I went and toured Appalachian State University. There campus was beautifully spread throughout the mountains. Next I went to NCS which was very warm and big. They're library was interesting because the technology department there had just made a robot that would find a book and then go get it for you. I was about to go tour Clemson and UF but my trip got cut short. Overall I would say that my spring break was fun and eye opening.

My Favorite Spring Break "Moment"

After I left school on Friday, I was very excited because the day after, my family and I would be driving to New York City. On Sunday, I got to see my first Broadway show with my mom and her friend. The show was called Kinky Boots, starring Wayne Brady and a lot of other great performers. Since my mom had bought us tickets in the second row, we got to see all of the performers singing and dancing right in front of us. I could actually see the spit coming out of their mouths while they sang. I had a great time! After the show, it had started to snow outside, but a crowd of people and I stood behind the barricades by the stage door of the Al Hirschfeld Theatre, hoping to get our Playbills signed by the performers. Only a few of them came to the barricade to sign Playbills, but it was exciting to get to talk to the cast members. It was awesome to have gotten the whole Broadway experience at my first show!

Pd1: Finn S. Best spring break moment

I wake up, without checking the time I go downstairs to get some cereal. My dad has work and I am home alone for the whole day. Sitting on my laptop I desperately contact friends waiting and hoping for something to do.  Now i'm not describing any specific day, I'm describing every day on spring break, Of course I did hang out with friends here and there, but this day kind of stands out.

At about 2;00 we left into the city to pick up my sister. She had taken a bus all the way from her school at University of Pittsburgh to Philadelphia. Dad had a plan to go to Pats cheesesteaks.  Personally I have never had Genos or Pats so this was a rather new experience for me and my sister who also hasn't gone to those places.  We all got cheesesteaks and some cheese fries in a cup to share  as well as drinks. After eating half the fries the rest where in the gooey cheese. None of us wanted to get our hands dirty so we threw them out. As for the steaks, the bread was great and so where the other foods, but it was slightly smaller then ones I'm used to eating.

Later we walked back to our car which was parked next to a limo and drove home. Nothing much happened then. I just sat back with my earbuds. That was really nothing special, it was just the most I could write about out of everything else happening over spring break.

I had the best spring break of my life Because we went to the Dominican Republic. It was especially interesting because it was the first time I have ever been out of the country. We did so many fun things in our resort, Casa De Campo. We swam in the clear blue water and went snorkeling and paddle boarding, and afterward we could go back to our villa and swim in the pool. Also we were with some family friends who are our age so we got to spend the whole time with them. Last spring break was the best one of my life

I did not really have a favorite part from spring break because my family and I did not go anywhere. Though we did not go anywhere I still had a good time hanging out with my best friend and playing video games. Another good part was when I got my xbox fixed then I could play video games at my own house. I loved being able to stay up late and sleep in. Playing video games all day was fun to.

During spring break, usually, my family goes to sunny Florida but this year my Dad insisted on going to Utah to ski in the freezing snow. We went with my friends and their families to Utah and started skiing right away.  We would ski in the well-known Alta and Snowbird ski resorts. After every tiring day of skiing we would go to the outdoor pool. We would watch the snowflakes drift into the heated pool while daring each other to get out of the pool and to roll in the snow. Every night all of the families would gather in the largest hotel room and eat dinner together. After eating, all of the kids (including me) would play hotel tag/hide and go seek/man hunt until we got in trouble. Utah was so much fun and a great life experience but I still miss all the sun I missed in Florida.

This spring break I golfed every day to practice for my first golf tournament of the year. All of practice helped a lot because now my whole game is rounded out. Each day started out with me waking up and heading to the course. The first thing I do when I get there is stretch. Then I start to hit balls on the range and hit the putting/chipping green to warm up my short game. Finally i head out for my round of 18 knowing i will have to step it up for the tournament on Saturday.

For spring break I went to this really cool water park. Now I forgot the name but it was awesome. We went in this hot tub that you could go outside in it. So this felt really weird because it was hot in the hot tub but it was really cold outside. So you were like really hot and cold at the same time. The slides was super big and really long. The best one was you would go in like a world pool and then you would go round in a circle and then fall into the pool. Then they had a buffet with all kinds of awesome food. My favorite food was the salmon it taste like heaven on a plate.  Then I really just relax chill watch Netflix and played Call of Duty. Over all my spring break was relax and a chill time.

This spring break I traveled to New Hampshire with my family to see my cousins. We went ice skating and skiing. One of my favorite parts of the trip was going to the resort and learning to ski. Although in the beginning I was a horrible skier, by the end of the day I was good enough to ride down the bigger hills on my own.
After a few days, My aunt and my cousin drove with us down to New York City. In the Big Apple, we saw a Broadway show, Matilda, skated in Rockefeller Plaza, and visited the Central Park Zoo. My favorite part was seeing the sea lions at the zoo. They knew many tricks and were glad to show off for the crowd.
Driving home, the old minivan made 80 mph on the Jersey Pike to avoid getting hit by cars going faster than us in the 65 mph zone.
All in all, it was a great trip and my family and I enjoyed it very much.

During spring break, like most people I didn't travel anywhere, mostly I just laid in bed, eating chocolate hang with my dog (Maggie), and watched TV. Maggie was one word: NUTS. First she would bark at a flower, then swing on the hammock the dog way (see bottom) and she was in a position that made us laugh. There was many TV specials (it being spring break) including some of my favorite shows: black ops and WWII in color. also Easter was a time for chocolate eggs, chocolate bunny and my favorite: ROLOS. I also got a large amount of legos 2 police legos, 1 car, and a Lego star wars set. So overall I would rate my spring break a 9/10.

My spring break was more relaxation and I had stayed home the entire time. I messed up my sleep schedule so much i was going to sleep at 4 in the morning. I didn't do anything exciting in the spring break but i did get my entire family sick and they were sick for 7 days but i was only sick for 1 day. My family complained to me about the symptoms but i didn't care at all. that was my spring break.

Over this spring break I went to the Netherlands for a sailing competition. I want to Holland for two weeks and sailed almost all of them. It was soooo windy, windier than I had ever seen before and we sailed in almost hurricane winds. In the end of the competition I ended up getting second out of about three hundred boats. That is how I spent my spring break this year and hope to something like this next year because it was an amazing experience.

Over spring break I didn't do much. I hung out with friends and ,on Easter, I helped my mom with cooking for an all Italian celebration. My mom is full Italian and my dad is a quarter Italian so it was cool to celebrate that way. For dinner we made a pasta dish, but it was cool the way we made it. First, we took a cake pan and buttered it. Secondly, we mix 1 cup of Parmesan cheese in with pasta. Then, we took the buttered cake pan and the pasta and filled the pan with the pasta, but the pasta was standing up. Next, we top the pasta with meat sauce and cheese. Finally, we put it in the oven and let it cook. Also, for dessert, we made raspberry white chocolate cheesecake pie with graham cracker crust. I originally found a picture of it on Instagram an I really wanted to try it, so I convinced my mom to make it. The first section had a layer of  white chocolate, then a layer crushed raspberries, then it was the cheesecake part. On top of that was another layer of white chocolate, then my mom's homemade whipped cream. Finally, it was topped with raspberries and a white chocolate drizzle. So, even though my spring break wasn't that eventful, i had a great Italian Easter with my family. We also ate some great food.

   Spring Break

Spring break was amazing, I'm just wishing that it would last longer. I got to spend most of my week at Stone Harbor with a friend. She has a house right near the bay, so it's really pretty at night. The first full day I was there we went shopping around town, like we did on most days. After that, we went to the beach. Of course being me, I by accidentally squirted my water gun at a little boy who told his mom. You probably can infer what happened to me next. Anyways,  every day we went out somewhere different for dinner, which was pretty cool.  Also one day, we went biking to the beach and I got this huge concshell with a conc living inside. It smelled horrible on the way home though. After that on the next day, we went to the wetlands institute and I got to take a selfie with a seahorse and an octopus on the same day! When we left, my friends parents surprised us and said that we were going to Morey's Pier on opening day, which was that day. We were there for mostly the whole time going on every single ride, but actually everyone else went on the upside-down roller coaster except me. I was too chicken to go on. Other than that, I had a really good time!

Over spring break I didn't really end up going anywhere. Mostly what I did was practice lacrosse and play xbox. But one day my family and I went to Philadelphia. We first went to the Reading Terminal for lunch but it was very crowded because of NCAA games in the city and a volleyball tournament. After lunch my sister and my brother convinced my parents to take us to the aquarium, which I was too keen on because it was kinda boring. I ended up going in and spending about two hours there and getting lunch. After the aquarium we went home and relaxed. Overall my spring break was mellowed out and just relaxing.

Spring break this year was a blast maybe it was because it was just me and my parents ot if it was the destination. Over spring break I went to California. In California I got to go to so many places such as Escondido, La Jolla, San Diego, Lagoona Nigel, and Palm Springs.  While in La Jolla I got to go surfing and that was a blast. Also, like evrywhere else We looked around the shops. In Escondido we went to the beach and the pool because thats where our hotel was. In San Diego me and my parents went to the famous San Diego zoo and it was so much fun to see all the animals. In Lagoona Nigel I went to the beach and spent the day there along with some walking around and looking in the shops. Finally, I went to Palm Springs. In Palm Springs I went to the Blue Coyote a mexican resturant that had such amazing foods. We went around town and got to c lots of cool shops. We ended the day the same each time with a convertible ride back to the hotel. Overall my break was a blast and cant wait for next year.

My spring break was very stress free and full of relaxation. During the last 4 days, my family and I went over to New Jersey because that's where my uncle, grandma and grandpa live. It was nice to visit them because we haven't seen them in a long time. On the Saturday before break was over, we all headed up to New York City. When we went, we saw this huge museum that was also a boat. It was called: Intrepid. After that we drove to have dinner and cruised on home. That next day, we jammed my parents, sisters and I into the car, and came home. It was overall a great break and I had loads of fun.

My spring break this year was laid back, but fun nonetheless! I spent a lot of time with friends over break. One night, my friend, Lena, and I decided that we would make a bunch of fun food like cookies and ice cream sundaes, then have a marathon of old movies and TV shows. We spent the night in my basement watching everything from Rugrats to Big. It was really nice to spend all that time with her because we go to different schools now, so it is rare we get to spend the night together. Although I didn't go on a trip to somewhere outside of Pennsylvania, I still had a great break!

My favorite part of spring break was flying out to Colorado. We went Saturday to Saturday and we skiied almost every day. My family and I stayed at my sisters friend's house right next to the mountain. Another great part was that for the first time in 3 years we saw our friends who live in Canada. I loved hanging out and skiing with them. we went into the small town next to the mountain and bought a ton of stuff like donuts and giant jawbreakers. I was really sad to leave but I can't wait to go back again next year!

The most memorable part of my spring break was going to Washington D.C.  We only went for the first three days of break, but we still did a lot.  We saw the Archives, the Spy museum, and a lot of other neat places, but my favorite part was going to the Renwick Gallery.  It's a small museum that has different exhibits every couple months.  When we went, the exhibit was called Wonder.  It had a lot of really abstract, unusual art.  For example, in one room there was this massive net-like thing hanging from the ceiling that lit up different colors, and you had to lie down on the floor to look at it.  Another room was art made from really big, strange insects, from places like Indonesia, that the artist had pinned to the walls in really intricate patterns.  Then there was another room where the artist had taken millions of index cards and layered them in a way so that they looked like mountains.  They were huge!  There was a lot of really awesome art there and I'm glad we got to go before the exhibit closed because it was really unique and inspiring.

This spring break I went to three places OC New Jersey, Baltimore inner harbor, North Carolina I watched a surfing completion in north Carolina is was so cool to see the skill and the white wash. The visitors won but I still think the locals did better they got more swells. Then I surfed my way to my home town Oc to do my local surfing I always have a blasted down their but I am not allowed to have my phone but it is nice to get away social media that way I can focus on my stay.  The last five days of spring break I spent it in Baltimore harbor it was one of my favorite trips I went with my cousins we got to stay in a hotel that served free breakfast. Waking up early was my favorite part next to the aquarium the Baltimore aquarium has beautiful fish, sea turtles, dolphins, jellyfish, shark and much more the sea turtles were my favorite. We saw so many sights and tasted it too. the food up there is sea food glory. I had so much fun this spring break lets hope next spring can earn up to it.

Spring break was pretty fun this year. Unlike last year, I got the opportunity to leave my house. I went down to New Jersey for the majority of the time to hang out with my cousins. We would take the train to New York City, a 20 minute ride to be exact. Whenever we walked up the stairs to leave the subway station, I would look up and admire all the buildings towering above me into the sky. I been to NYC plenty of times in the past, but looking around the city never gets old. We would go up to World Trade 1 and look around at the view. You would see planes flying, the ferry floating across the Hudson river, and the view of miles and miles of buildings that seems endless.

The most significant moment in my spring break was visiting Salem. In this tiny town north of Boston, I learned more about the devastating Salem witch trials and why they were important to the economy of Salem. In addition, I went to Winter Island, a small island near Salem, and had lots of good seafood there. To sum up, my visit to Salem was my favorite part of break, because I enjoyed learning more about its impact on our country's history.

My favorite part of spring break was when I drove to Florida with Caroline.  We stayed at Portofino island resort. It was so nice there, and there were so many fun things to do. One of my favorite things to do there was  to go to the beach and tan, play volleyball, paddleboard, and kayak! We made so many memories that I will never forget!  I can't wait to we do this again next year!

My favorite part of my spring break was when I went to Florida with Skylar. We went to this very nice resort that had a lot of pools and fun things to do. My favorite part of being in Florida was when we got to go on the watersports in the ocean. We had the option to jump on trampolines, climb "rockwalls", etc. All of us also had a really fun time at the pool and on the beach. I was very upset when we had to leave, but I was very excited for when we would come next year!

By far, the most enjoyable moment of this year's (2016) Spring Break was the day I visited the Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center. It's basically an air and space (AKA. the most amazing place ever). What makes it so great? For starter, everything is life size, so you can truly immerse yourself in the world of aviation and space exploration. They also have rockets. Not just the space shuttle rocket, they also have missiles. They got cruise missiles, anti-satellite, SLBM missiles, and MORE. All in all, it was truly the best time of the break.

PS: Did mention the missiles? They have anti-ship missiles, air to air missiles, land to land missiles, guided missiles and........that's about it.

My favorite part of spring break was going to Colorado. I used to live there and moved when I was four. One of my friends there is named Ashley and I haven't seen her since I've moved. So we went out to see their whole family for a week. We spent Easter there to too and went swimming with them also. My sister Marin is friends with Ashley's little sister Cate, so they saw each other too. Overall, spring break was really fun and it was nice to see old friends again.
