Midsummer Nights Dream  is seen as one of the more lighthearted Shakespeare plays.  With that comes many funny scenes. Here are some of my favorites. I instantly knew Act 3 Scene 1 was going to be one of my favorites. All the humor comes from Bottom being turned into a donkey. My next scene that I thought was funny is Act 1 Scene 2. That's where the play is first brought up and since that's the basis of the humor in the play it would only make sense that scene would be humorous. The last scene is Act 5 Scene 1. That's where the play actually happens. The rude mechanicals messing up their parts and making fools out of themselves is the funniest part of the play.
