Pd 2: Ksenia Tymchenko

I Remember Poem

I remember the snow days
The way the Yankee candles smelled like winter
And how the tree smelled like peace
I remember the yearning of a Christmas dinner I almost tasted
Like trying to reach a star but never getting closer
Pine needles' touch with a sappy feel
was like petting a porcupine.
I remember the white fluffy snow drifting down
How the snow clung onto the lights everywhere.
Each time I recall this memory, my face reveals a smile,
snowing we would sled and drink hot cocoa all day long
I will always remember my white snow days
