I remember first seeing that gigantic 150 foot wide tree
The way the smell of freshly cut grass tickled my nose
And how the flowers smelled overly sweet
I remember the ice-cold water sliding down my throat
Like a snake sliding down my throat, killing the stinging feeling in the back of my throat
The leave's touch floating across my face
A cat seemed to be rubbing against my cheek
I remember the neon green of the leaves and the deep, brown of the bark
How the leaves looked like fireworks and the bark like chocolate
Each time I recall this memory I feel a deep sense of joy
Fluttering throughout my brain
I always feel so at peace whenever I think back to that, warm July day
