I remember the stadium, packed full but not for a game
The way the crisp outside air smelled on the cool summer evening
And the smoke Philadelphia smoke reminding me were I was
I remember the bittersweet dark chocolate in our mouths
Like the blackening bitter sky, but full of sweet stars above us
A friend's touch of her head to my shoulder as the night goes on
Hair spilling over me with a ruby red hue
I remember one million lights, like fireflies surrounding us
And how they wave in unison as the stadium shakes with sound
Each time i recall this memory, I go back there
Aching feet
Once again
Dragging on
Totally worth it
