I Remember Poem

Introduction to soccer

I ask them to take a poem

and hold it up to the sunny sky

you see a red flag laughing in the air

or the corner kick pole waiting to be kicked

I say pass the ball to the open teammate

use teamwork to move up the field

go for the corner kick

find a teammate to head it in or even bicycle kick

I want to help out the squad on defense

up and down through the field

like a cat chasing a laser point instead of a soccer ball

But all i want to do is be a good player

work with my crew

scoring goals and defense
