I Remember Poem
I remember falling into the prickly bushes
The way the flower smelled, fruity on my walk home
And how delicious the bread smelled when I walked through the Italian market
I remember the best pizza I've ever had
It was like bits of heaven in my mouth
The workers touch as he smothered the pizza in sauce
I always liked to watch the pepperoni dance onto the pizza
I remember the greasy grill and the small tables
How the bathroom never worked and all the cartoons on the wall
Each time I recall this memory I fill with joy and happiness
Smiling whenever I pass a pizza place
The smells of that place remind me of home and i will never forget
