I Remember Poem
I remember going to preschool
The way the ceiling tiles smelled
And how they wrinkled my nose the first time I smelled them
I remember the pretzel sticks
As salty as the ocean
Plastic's touch making my fingers feel cold
As smooth as glass
I remember a big skyscraper
How the bricks and windows soared into the sky
Each time I recall this memory, vertigo takes over
Looking into the atmosphere
A never-ending tower
