PD6: Andrew Kim, I Remember Poem

I Remember Poem

I remember Christmas many years ago
The way the past smelled like the ocean
And how the veal gave off the scent of the pastures
I remember the just right lamb chops
As delicious as dinner when the relaxation of winter break already set in

Blanket's touch kept me cozy as I just wasted time
Being able to have a lot of time on your hands is the summer vacation that never comes.

I remember a dimly lit restaurant filled with people
How the mood was just perfect.

Each time I recall this memory, I remember why I love the holidays,
snowing outside just right
Now that's what Christmas should be like.
