Pd: 3 Ava T.

During break, I went to my cousins' house. First I ran a 5K and then won a pie. After that, we went back to the house. We met with our other cousins and their grandparents. When most people left, my female cousins and I left to go to Target at 10:30 pm. We got to Target and there was a sign on the door. It said that it is a  Massachusetts law that all stores must be closed on Thanksgiving and that it would reopen at 1 am. We immediately left to go to the New Hampshire Target. By the time we got there, it  was around 11 pm. The place was PACKED. There were few kids, but many adults who bought toys for children. My cousins, sisters, and I looked around the store for something to buy. While we were looking, we saw the checkout line. This was the longest line I have ever seen. It curved through several isles, and we saw someone sleeping in the bottom part of the shopping cart. My mom asked one of the employees what the wait in line would be. The lady said it would take an hour. We thought about leaving, when my aunt stepped in line, ready for the wait. By the time we were finished shopping, it was around 12 o'clock, midnight. Luckily, my aunt and mom were at the front of the line. They told us to wait in the Starbucks while they checked out. We left at about 12:30 am and got home at 1. We all  brushed our teeth and went straight to bed. At 1:30 am, I realized that I had went Black Friday shopping after all.
