Sunsets every night, by the sounds of rippling, cold water. This was my amazing Thanksgiving at the lake house. Twenty people all cramed in this three story house. Boat tours and kayaking was all part of this adventure we had. Kayaking was an experience that i will never forget. As my mom and I got into the kayak we were already off to a bad start. My mom almost dropped her phone into the water and if that had happened that would've been it for her. After that experience, we finally got on. Once we started paddling, everything went silent. we paddled a few times and then just let the ripples of the lake take us away into the sunset. Hearing the birds chirping and calling for their mothers was so peaceful and relaxing. After an hour on the kayak we got off and went inside for dinner. The smell of the mashed potatoes had me hooked emedietly. We had turkey, potatoes gravy and mushroom soup. Something that was different about Thanksgiving was our dessert. We had ice-cream pie and lots of raspberry sauce. After we had stuffed ourselves with dessert it was time to play chirades. This was a yearly Thanksgiving tradition. May losses and wins happened that night but in the end it was such an unforgettable night.
