Betty cocked her head and flashed me a smile
This poem communicates an important lesson in many ways. Some ways such as standing up for a friend. This shows by Jennifer standing up for Lucia. Jennifer stands up for Lucia when Betty was being rude and barging in on their conversation. Also, this shows empathy because she doesn’t just stand there and let Lucia talk she helps her out so Lucia doesn’t have to worry. I chose this scene because I felt that it showed a good message. Lucia is getting made fun of she her friend stands up for her. What more could you ask from a friend right? So as you can see this is a good message for kids to learn.
