The aisle seat glare
Eyes glaring betty moved to the aisle seat
That was her signal
I wouldn't be sitting with her
Was everyone going to be like this everyday
As a welcoming arm opened
Things have changed dramatically
Jennifer saw how bad I was being treated
She took action
My heart pounding
She asked if I was the new Cuban girl
This poem generates a very important message. Even if there are those that will bring you down, there are also some that will help you up. When Jennifer welcomed Lucia to sit with her Lucia felt much better. Also this shows empathy when Jennifer saw that Lucia wasn't welcome to sit with betty she welcomed Lucia. I chose this scene because if gave off a good message, and it shows that there are good people and bad people in the world so you need to chose wisely.
