Pd2, John Baran

Thanksgiving was great, but watching the Eagles game was not. My family ate at noon so we missed a little bit of the game. After we finished eating, we walked into  the living room, turned on the TV, and turned it right back off. That was because the Eagles were losing to the Lions, badly. It would be different if they were playing the Pats, or the Packers, but they were losing to the Lions.

My cousin is a big vikings fan, so obviously, he was making fun of us the whole day. His team actually has a winning record, and a running back that can get first downs and score touchdowns in Adrian Peterson. On the other hand, my Uncle is a Raiders fan, they are okay, but they're definitely better than the Eagles. So after a long thought, I decided to become a part Raiders fan, part Eagles fan. After this big football fiasco, my Thanksgiving went by in a blur.

Overall, my Thanksgiving was very good, the food was splendid, the weather was perfect, and I even got to play a little football on the way. Although I have lost all hope in the Eagles, the 76ers actually won a game! This is why my Thanksgiving was good and bad.

Next year, I hope the Eagles will do better so I will not have to
break apart again and write a similar essay. Thank you for taking the
time to read my blog.
                                                      THE END
