       This Thanksgiving as something special, my Grandmother came to visit for a few days.  It might not sound all that exciting but it's very special because she eighty-six years old and lives six to seven hours away and it has become very hard for her to come to my house since it as she got older, driving far distances became more difficult.  She came and brought a bunch of food to cook like the bread for stuffing, ingredients for the green bean casserole, and her most amazing homemade cookies.  I enjoy having my grandmother over for holidays because it's really great to spend time with her because no one knows how much time she could have left since shes 86 already so I always want to spend as much time with her as i can.  overall i had a really great Thanksgiving and the food was amazing and being able to spend time with my family was even better.
