Pd2: Ksenia T. Thanksgiving

This Thanksgiving was supposed to have my cousin's Christening the day after. Most of my family up in Canada was coming down for the Christening. Everyone was staying at my grandparent's house in Buffalo, New York.I was so excited to see family I haven't seen for years. But four days before Thanksgiving my mother received a disturbing call that my grandmother has shingles. That's when my exiting plans started to unravel. The Christening was cancelled so nobody would be coming from Canada. My mom's brothers couldn't come because they both had newborn babies that couldn't be around my sick grandmother.  The only people I saw during the Thanksgiving weekend was my family, my aunt and my grandparents. But Thanksgiving was still great because I was with my family and it was calm compared to all the other holiday gatherings with my big family.
