Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving isn't about turkey, or getting a day off of school. Its about giving thanks! My family and I take some time to remember that. A tradition in our family is every thanksgiving, we  write what were thankful for, and everyone at the table guesses who wrote it. This thanksgiving, we went to the Stone Barn Buffet. We filled our plates with as much food as we could possible fit and stuffed our faces with stuffing, mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce, and turkey. Next, we drove to my cousin Trent and Blake's house and played soccer while the parents chatted away. The teams were me and Trent vs. Blake and Westin. When Kamrin and Kaden (my other cousins) came, Kaden joined my team and Kamrin joined Westin's team. We had a long, hard battle but my team ended up just snagging in one last goal for victory. Hide and seek was our next game, which didn't last very long. I decided to chow down on the apple pie I made which started a huge snack break with brownies, ice cream, and all the different types of pie you could imagine! My personal favorite was the apple pie I made. Outside we played ghost in the grave yard which also didn't last long when it turned into a huge argument. After the argument that seemed to last a lifetime, we went back to soccer which turned out to be the funniest thing I've ever seen! I literally laughed so hard I peed. Then we said our goodbyes and drove home. I had such a great thanksgiving! I cant wait for next year.
