Pd 2: Paul D Thanksgiving
Thanksgiving break is always a fun time, but this year Thanksgiving really stood out. My sister made two pumpkin pies and a pecan pie, and we took them to our cousins' house in Delaware. There were nineteen people there, and everyone brought a different food. My uncle made duck, goose, and shrimp, and my cousin made potato salad. There was also homemade cranberry sauce, apple cider, bread, and desserts. In addition to the three pies my family brought, there was an apple cake, Argentinian candy, and chocolates. After we ate, I went downstairs with my brother and two of my cousins and we played a complicated game of catch. We sat in a circle and passed around a small foam football. While that was going around, we had to throw a basketball back and forth with the person directly across from us. The challenge was to keep the game going as long as possible. After we did that, we sat in the living room and listened to our older cousins tell funny stories from their jobs. It was around 9:00 when we headed back home, and overall was one of the best Thanksgivings yet.
