PD6: Andrew K.Thanksgiving

      As always Thanksgiving break provides a long awaited break from school. Even though we've only been in school for a few months, I needed that break. However, lucky me, I already had plans to take myself away from school.

      As soon as the bell rang, I ran to my locker and turn the dial furiously. I quickly threw my binders and books into my locker, and ran out of the deepest corner of the school and into the main hallway. Fighting the traffic, I made my way to the back stairs.

      As soon as all of my friends gathered, we opened the door, and finally went outside for the first time that day since school started. Laughing and joking, we slowly walked on the usual route kids take to Handel's. We set up camp at outside under the huge tree between Handel's and Bravissimo.

We enjoyed pizza after quietly talking about who pays for what. After some epic fails, like me holding the pizza box wrong and accidentally making the cheese fall of the pizza plus another friend opening all the Fantas, we got icecream. After wasting some time at CVS and looking for secret santa gifts, we gradually went our separate ways.

Right after school ended, I had a wonderful kick off to the one week long break which included a big dinner, seeing the Martian, and shopping on the weekend.
